Discount alert: Shoe Madness at New Look

British retailer New Look is seriously tempting us into buying as many shoes as we'd like, because they know we all love shoes and we all love discounts.

The team has come up with a great discount campaign, called Shoe Madness, on their new shoe collection and it's pretty simple, too: until the end of the September grab some friends, pick your favourite shoes and you'll get discounts according to the size of your group. That means that you'll get 20% off if you're going with your best friend, 30% off, if you're three shoe maniacs, 40% off if you manage to get your work buddy to play along and even 50% off if you manage to bring your mom too. The best thing is that the discount applies to each and every one of you, so you all win, there's no fighting over who pays what. Win-win situation, right?

Ruleta ruseasca marca miniPRIX - reduceri incepand cu 50%

Incepand de maine, 27 ianuarie, magazinul-minune miniPRIX  lanseaza una dintre cele mai interesante promotii in aceasta perioada cand ofertele au impanzit toate magazinele.

"Ruleta ruseasca" functioneaza in felul urmator:

- toate produsele benefeciaza de promotie
- reducerile vor fi initial de 50% si vor continua sa creasca catre 80%, pana cand stocurile produselor din "colectia" 2010 vor fi epuizate

- reducerea se va aplica la trimiterea comenzii sau facturare (nu va panicati, asa cum am facut eu la prima mea comanda cu ei, daca nu va apare reducerea si nu ii bombardati cu mailuri panicate)

-  promotia se aplica atat in magazinele fizice, cat si in cel online. 

Ceea ce apreciez eu la aceasta campanie este faptul ca are un concept, nu e doar o soldare de dragul de a epuiza stocurile vechi. Ca sa ilustreze si mai bine acest concept, cei de la miniPRIX au gandit si un slogan simpatic "La noroc, cumperi acum sau… nu mai gasesti!" Tentant, nu?

Ma indoiesc de faptul ca ar putea fi printre voi persoane care nu cunosc brand-ul miniPRIX sau care nu au cumparat macar o data ceva de aici. Dincolo de pretentiile peste care unii poate nu pot trece si care nu le dau voie sa recunoasca, cu totii am fost entuzismati atunci cand, dupa cautari indelungi printre umerasele inghesuite, am gasit aici haine de calitate la preturi foarte mici. Mie imi place mai mult varianta on-line, ma scuteste de inghesuiala si am mai mult rabdare sa le iau pe toate la rand. Dezavantajul ar fi ca nu are stocuri atat de bine puse la punct, dar cu putin noroc, gasiti produse minunate.

Si ca sa nu ma credeti propagandista, iata o dovada ca eu cred in acest brand: rochia Atmosphere cumparata cu 2 zile inainte de Revelion, pe care am purtat-o cu mult drag in seara dintre ani cu un plic newspaper print MiteMite de la Tuxedo Confessions.

Stilul nu tine de etichete, ci de curajul si abilitatea de a combina! Asa ca indrazniti si grabiti-va, daca vreti sa mai gasiti marimile voastre! Spor la shopping!

The SALES are on!

The long awaited moment that had everyone dreaming and saving up since last season is here: the sales are on!

The first to start this magical season - dreamland for all women with regular incomes who crave for designer pieces - are always the online shops.

First up, Net-a-porter. You can shop their designer shoes selection here. There are some deals that you will be thankful for all your life, maybe your grandsons too, one day. For example, these McQueens with golden angel wings at €614.54 (used to be €877.92 ) or the Tory Burch lace up boots at €276.50 (used to be €395).

My Theresa is also having a sale. You can shop their designer shoe collection here. My pick from their rather scarce selection? The Miu Mius, of course, at 279,00 euro.

LuisaViaRoma is also one of the most important online designer stores to take on the sales trend. Their shoe selection is very complete and includes a lot of important names. You can see and shop it here. I would choose the Briant Atwood sky print flat boots with 70% off or the Dolce and Gabbana wellington leopard print boots with 30% off.


Unique-way, the online store selling products from several other online stores, which has recently started an agressive advertising campaign through bloggers like Chiara Ferragni from The Blonde Salad, are having a sale too. You can see and shop the shoe selection here. My pick would be the Charlotte Olympia mint green snakeskin pumps at about 200 euro.

My favourite online shop with a HUGE selection of discounted shoes? It has got to be Asos.com. It's hard to pick a favourite, but I would definitely go for the Sam Edelman wegdes at €149.99 and the Asos Alesha booties at €44.87.

Xmas on Heels - Sepala and RSM special edition collection - the photos

Remember last week's good news about the Xmas on Heels special collection launched by Mihaela Glavan and Ovidiu Buta for Sepala and RSM? We enjoyed the video created especially for this collection and now it is time to have a closer look at the festive shoes which will make Christmas happen for your feet too!

I like the fabrics Mihaela has used - saten, suede, some discrete sequins/strass. What I like most in this collection is the femininity that the shoes celebrate through the colours, the fabrics and most of all the cuts.  The sandals from the Xmas on Heels collection are cut in such a way that they serve the ultimate purpose:  complementing a woman's look and personality.

Victoria 46 launches online Outlet store: the SHOES

Victoria 46 is one of the biggest and most famous concept stores hosting designer pieces in Romania. They're the store hosting most of the designer pieces out there: Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Balenciaga, Dior, Lanvin, Stella McCartney, just to name a few.

They have recently launched their online outlet where you can find pieces from the designers they host at incredible discounts (around 70% for most of them). The website looks were professional, you can surf easily through all their sections (women, men, kids, cleareance and new items) and look for the catwalk pieces you have craved for for such a long time, at special prices, of course. 

I really appreciate this store. However, I still cannot understand their lack of communication with the public, no matter the budget and the age. I know that their customers are usually celebrities and rich people, but the opening of the online outlet could have been more open to the general public, since it's an outlet where people with average budgets could have access. Because, after all, an outlet is primarely meant for this part of the population, right? And the lack of communication from their PR department has no excuses. They could try and be more transparent and communicative. People with average budgets might just buy more if they are encouraged.

Now, leaving aside the flaws, I have chosen some of the designer shoes you can find in the outlet store. The prices are discounted 70%, so you can buy a pair of Stella McCartneys at 759 Ron. Pretty awesome, right?
