Limited Skin Collection, World's First Certified-Biodegradable Leather Sneakers

While doing research for Shopping Report's organic issue I came accross a shoe brand with an amazing concept: Oat Shoes.
The Dutch brand creates sustainable shoes that care for nature and the way it works while looking incredibly fresh and fashionable.
Their second collection called Limited Skin will blow your mind away: the unisex sneakers are made of organic-cotton fleece and pique cotton, while the leather (produced by Hulshof Royal Dutch Tanneries) is tanned using nontoxic ingredients which will not harm the environment.
The most amazing thing about these high- and low-top sneakers is that they are biodegradable: when you're done wearing them you're supposed to bury them and in a couple of days beautiful wildflowers will grow out of them! Mindblown? I know I am.
